500,000 T/Y Calcium Carbonate Project in Henan: MTW Grinding Mills Power High-End Coatings Production

Nanzhao County in Henan Province is rich in calcium carbonate resources, with proven reserves of up to 1 billion tons, making it the largest calcium carbonate production base in Central China. Leveraging this advantage, the region is actively building its industrial brands as the "Calcium Capital of the Central Plains" and the "Water-Based Paint Capital of China."
Recently, we visited a large-scale, modern, and environmentally friendly building materials production base established by a leading coatings enterprise. The project processes high-quality calcite into 325-mesh heavy calcium powder, with an annual output of 500,000 tons, mainly used in putty powder production.
As a core raw material, heavy calcium powder plays a crucial role in determining the quality of putty powder, leading to strict requirements on particle size uniformity and purity. After extensive comparisons and on-site evaluations, the customer selected six sets of Liming Heavy Industry's MTW European-Type Grinding Mills as the core equipment.
The MTW mills incorporate multiple patented technologies, including integrated bevel gear transmission, an internal thin oil lubrication system, and a curved air duct design. These features ensure high grinding efficiency, large output, and stable operation. Equipped with high-efficiency pulse dust collectors, the system fully complies with national environmental standards. The final product features uniform particle size and high purity, meeting the stringent requirements of high-end coatings applications.
The entire production line was designed and constructed by Liming Heavy Industry, featuring a scientifically planned layout, compact structure, and environmentally friendly operation. Its stable performance and superior product quality have earned strong recognition from the customer.
